Student Outcomes of the Civil Engineering Program
| 1 | An ability to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics. |
| 2 | An ability to apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors. |

Program Educational Objectives
Graduates of the Istanbul Technical University Civil Engineering Program are expected to:
- Use the knowledge of engineering fundamentals in solving civil engineering problems within their professions. (1, 2, 6)
- Conduct the civil engineering profession in any local, regional, national and international private companies or governmental agencies. (3, 4, 5)
- Develop self-directed learning capability to practice life-long learning skills through graduate education or professional training activities in their careers within country or abroad. (4, 7)
- Participate in professional society activities, and perform their professions with ethical principles and professional responsibilities. (4, 7)
